A peek into Peter Dunlap-Shohl’s gorgeous graphic novel


I read former Anchorage Daily News editorial cartoonist Peter Dunlap-Shohl’s graphic memoir about Parkinson’s disease “My Degeneration” in one intense sitting and loved every moment of it. The story is raw and honest, beautifully drawn, a contemplation on hope, despair, perseverance and human vulnerability. I asked him to send me some of his favorite frames, here’s what arrived:
